The Hotel-Restaurant Schütz has existed for more than 50 years. Schütz became known in Trier and the surrounding area as Hahnen-Schütz (chicken pitter) thanks to our famous chickens.
In the meantime, the restaurant has expanded the menu to include home-style cooking (see restaurant) in addition to chicken and flutes.
In the gastronomy area, the guest has the opportunity to dine as a smoker in our Pilsstübchen without giving up the pleasure of smoking.

The hotel offers 34 rooms of different categories: from cozy single rooms to double rooms to dormitories for tour groups/students/pupils.
Some of the rooms are picturesquely situated in the rear garden area.
There, guests can relax in the spacious gardens. Here the guest will find various cozy places to end the day.
